The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has grants available to help small businesses reduce air pollution. The grants will pay up to $50,000 for projects going beyond compliance to reduce emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Examples include, but may not be limited to, switching from solvent-based to water-based painting or coating; or switching to powder coating; or switching to low-VOC degreasing and/or cleaning operaitons. A variety of other projects to cost-effectively reduce VOCs may also be eligible.
