Join us for a tour of the Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy Center (lunch provided)!
Join A&WMA-UMS on Tuesday, October 17th from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy Center. Space is limited to 20 people, on a first-come first-serve basis. The tour will include visiting the processing equipment control room, and a walk-through of the tip floor with a closer look at the processing equipment. A box lunch will be provided, and during lunch the facility will give a presentation on current operations and future development plans.
Please note the facility is unable to offer adequate wheelchair access, and parts of the tour include walking up and down stairs.
Closed-toe shoes will be required, and comfortable clothing and pants are recommended by the facility.
