Cross-Section/Chapter AWMA Webinar: How to Keep Your Project on Track Under the New Biden Paradigm

Please join the A&WMA – Upper Midwest Section, A&WMA – Rocky Mountain States Section, and A&WMA Great Basin Chapter for this free 1.5-hour webinar on March 31, 2021, from 12:00 PM CT (11:00 AM MT) to 1:30 PM CT (12:30 PM MT).  This event is free to both A&WMA members and non-members.

In this webinar, we will highlight and explain the new Biden Administration Executive Orders and policies that could impact your current or future natural resources projects.  We will take a dive into the content of two major Executive Orders (#13990 and #14008) and how to interface with regulatory agencies under this new guidance.  In addition, we will present the current legal landscape under the first few months of the Biden Administration, including major litigation and status, rulemaking, enforcement initiatives, and overarching administrative objectives.  Finally, we will present ideas and tips for interacting with the new administration to ensure development projects stay on track and on schedule.  We look forward to discussing these important topics as we all adjust to a new paradigm.

Our presenters include experienced environmental consultants from Barr Engineering with many years of advising clients on project development and attorneys from Dorsey & Whitney with a similar breadth of experience advising clients on regulatory, enforcement, and permitting matters throughout the Midwest, and Intermountain Region.  These practitioners will share their experience and ideas for maintaining growth for our valuable webinar guests.
