2022 Conference on the Environment

Mark your calendars for the 37th Annual Conference on the Environment (COE) which will be held IN-PERSON on Thursday, November 10, 2022. 

This all-day conference brings together environmental professionals representing industry, consultants, government, and academia, in the areas of air quality, water quality, and waste management.  Through keynote presentations and concurrent technical sessions, attendees will learn about new, relevant issues.  The COE is co-hosted by the Upper Midwest Section of Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA-UMS) and the Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA) and has become one of the premier conferences in the Upper Midwest dealing with today’s pertinent environmental issues. 

Registration is now open for the 37th annual Conference on the Environment which will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Minneapolis Convention Center.  This all-day conference invites environmental professionals representing industry, consultants, legal, government, and academia serving in the areas of air quality, stormwater, water quality/wastewater treatment, waste management, and more.  We are excited to announce that the keynote this year is MPCA Commissioner Katrina Kessler!

Costs are as follows:

• $150 for Members ($180 after October 15)
• $180 for Non-Members ($210 after October 15)
• $25 for Students ($30 after October 15)

        Sponsorship & Exhibitor Registration

Event Sponsor (cost $350):  Event sponsors will receive extra signage throughout the conference and during the keynote address.  The following events can be sponsored and will be determined based on a first reserved basis: welcome desk, breakfast, morning networking break, lunch, afternoon networking break and happy hour networking event.  Slots are limited and sell out fast!

Conference Sponsor (cost $200):  Conference sponsors will receive signage throughout the event.  Support will be applied to the conference as well as the Student Environmental Challenge.  Slots are unlimited!

Exhibitor (cost $550, after October 24 $650): Registration space include one 8’ skirted table and one chair.  Each exhibit booth registration includes two free registrations for the conference and lunch.  Electric hookup must be purchased separately.
