PM2.5 PSD Implementation Workshop
Wednesday, August 27
The Upper Midwest Section of the Air and Waste Management Association
hosted a PM2.5 workshop. This workshop covered the implementation of PM2.5 (fine particulate matter) New Source Review requirements promulgated by EPA on May 16, 2008, and
spoke to the challenges that will be faced by industry and regulators as they seek to incorporate these requirements into their air permitting and compliance programs. The program
featured a webinar with EPA participants, plus local speakers, including an MPCA speaker explaining the latest on implementation of PM2.5 permitting requirements in Minnesota and a panel discussing dispersion PM2.5 modeling and source testing.
Update 11/11/08 regarding QUESTION & ANSWERS from the Webinar Speakers:
We received notice from Autumn Secrest, the Programs Coordinator for the Air & Waste Management Association in Pittsburgh that unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the A&WMA will not be able to provide responses to the questions which were not answered during that Webinar. You are encouraged to contact the panelists directly with any additional questions or concerns you may have. They can be contacted at:
Ken Weiss at ken.weiss@erm.com
Gary McCutchen at G.McCutchen@rtpenv.com
John Paul at paulja@rapca.org
Raj Rao at Rao.Raj@epamail.epa.gov
or call 919-541-5344
They apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and sincerely hope that you found the program valuable…and that you will continue to find their programs of interest in the future!
